Dr Samuel Freeman

Dr Freeman will be covering Dr Anna Godwin’s patients while she is on maternity leave. He qualified from University College London in 2017. He moved to Brighton in 2019 and started his GP training in 2021 after completing fellowships in Medical Education, ENT, and Paediatrics. He joined Mile Oak Medical Centre in 2025.
Alongside regular GP clinical work, he runs ear microsuction clinics at MOMC and undertakes occasional work as an urgent care doctor at Princess Royal Hospital.
He has a special interest in digital transformation, data, and health technology and works for the IT department at University Hospitals Sussex as part of their Electronic Patient Record Programme and as a Clinical Safety Officer.
In his free time, he plays percussion and is assistant conductor for a local Brighton-based orchestra. Having previously been a keen runner, most of his energy is now spent chasing after his toddler round Brighton and Hove’s numerous excellent parks.
